A gin tasting event with a difference at a golf club raised a four-figure sum for CSALS.

Hallamshire Golf Club staged a Gin with a Grin event, featuring entertainment from comedy mentalist Billy Flywheel, with guests taking part in fun games and enjoying different flavours of Scavelli Gin. The event raised £1,040.

James Glover, Hallamshire Golf Club’s general manager, said: “Our members who attended the gin tasting event had a fantastic time and it is great to be able to do that whilst supporting such a worthwhile cause.”

Debra Johnson, CSALS’ community facilitator, added: “I would like to thank James and Heather for organising the event, together with the guests who attended.

“We received some great feedback at the end of the night from people who said how much they had enjoyed it.”
