Valued support for CSALS has been received from Motan Colortronic UK Ltd, based in Chesterfield.
Karl Miller, the company’s managing director, is a lifelong supporter of the Blades and played for the Junior Blades as a youngster, so it was fitting that he joined club legend Tony Currie for a photo to mark the company’s ongoing sponsorship.
Commenting on the link-up, Karl said: “We recognise the great work being done by CSALS to ensure there are more people armed with vital first aid skills. Lives have been saved as a result of people doing the training provided by CSALS and we are pleased to support their efforts.”
Debra Johnson, CSALS’ community facilitator, said: “Our heartfelt thanks to Karl, who has been a fantastic supporter of CSALS, helping us to save lives through the sponsorship provided by Motan Colortronic.”
As one of Sheffield United’s partner charities this season, CSALS will hold a bucket collection at the Premier League club’s fixture at home to Burnley on Saturday.
Supporters attending the match at Bramall Lane should look out for collectors raising funds for the charity, both outside the stadium and in the hospitality areas.
